2020
March: New Chrome apps will not be accepted by Chrome Web Store.
Through June'20, Developers need to update existing Chrome apps.
June: Google support for Chrome apps will stop on Windows, macOS,
and Linux. Existing users will have access to a policy for extending support via December'20.
December: On Windows, macOS, and Linux, Support for Chrome apps will end.

June: Support for various platforms like NaCl, PNaCl, and PPAPI
APIs will end. Support for Chrome apps will end on Chrome OS, for all customers having Chrome Enterprise and Chrome Education Upgrade will have access to a policy for extending support via June'22.
2022
June: Support for Chrome apps will end on Chrome OS for all customers.
According to the Google support page, users should install a shortcut that
opens chrome - read the Google Support Page.
Google said that existing users who have Google Chrome version 86 or newer
will be roaming to keep
Google by following
the rules of chrome application. The chrome application on your PC or Laptop
will be redeemed by a shortcut launcher, which will allow launching
Google by simply
clicking on the icon on your desktop.
